The common description of being up close to a big stereo speaker is a pretty good comparison, its a very unique experience. Maybe if I did not own other Chaco sandals, I would be satisfied. If you walk your dogs at night, you really should get these. I got this kit to compliment them. Also nice. This is especially useful if you use heavy duty resistance bands (500+ pounds resistance) and have broad shoulders. Again, this might not be and issue for you, it wasnt really for me, I just wanted to play about with settings. But the biggest difference is the strap is too short.
