My husband wears 9 1/2 and we got size 9 , they fit perfect . fitting was simple (although I fell in to the trap of putting them on upside down which the instructions dont tell you about until the last picture in the instructions - the seam needs to be at the bottom and many people put them on upside down - Doh! Figured id go with the 10s for the sliders just in case but they ended up being pretty small and had to try and squeeze my foot into them. If you want a loose, relaxed fit, consider ordering a size or two up. And now, the pad strips I put in place have fallen out. Can?t twll the difference from the original cord and this one.
