Without the x bass system engaged, it lacks bass, and with, it seems a bit too boomy, overwhelming the clarity of the mids and highs, and muddying the mix. Before you buy this cable I recommend if you have the extra 5 to 10 dollars go to Astro instead of this aftermarket cable. The phone charger part works just fine, no problems. Now the battery doesn?t crap out, it can go for 8+ hours. Thinking about returning it, and getting a different one. Breaks easy Super cute & sturdy.
