The MW07 and Sennheiser Momentum TW (which, once again, I tried but returned bc of bad controls and battery life) are a bit better in this regard. I tried a heavy sock, shoe horn, and cardboard but there was no give. I would agree with that and I felt that my ears almost had too much room to move around in the QC 35. Not only that, but unlike a torque wrench your still able to continue tightening it after the click. we have had it for just a few months. I couldnt get his fat little foot in there. As previous reviews have noted, they squeak, but after walking around in them for 5 to 10 minutes the squeaking stopped. I am not sure size 8 would have been OK. Plus I?ll have to wait another two plus weeks for the replacement. Instructions it came with were crap, like other reviews stated.
