All of the plates go inside the frames, all of the nuts go behind the plates. Makes it just a bit more tedious to install/adjust than it would otherwise be. 4 stars instead of 5 based on price point. Add on kit for roof bars, easy to attach and fit the roof rails perfectly (Volvo XC60) Looking forward to more software to take advantage of its potential. I have been buying Clarks shoes for years and they were always well made a comfortable. I cannot comment on these, but can say that on at least my bike, this type of injury appears to be nearly impossible. Item arrived just as described. So that option is out and the max sound is not as great as my cheap earbuds (go figure). They are reasonably comfortable, although I would not wear them for extensive walking.
