I had my docking station too close to the wireless router and the mic picked up all the electronic noise totally my fault. no mudiness , just crystal clear sharp sound- The included flip to mute mic works great and sounds very clear. It even has the ability to be put together for angled shelving or just flat shelving. The inside of my Sperrys feels flat and my feet end up aching by the end of the day. I would say it probably has something to do with the Grado 8mm dynamic drivers. This beanie is really comfortable to wear and doesnt have any weight to it. Good luck.
