It?s to protect your charging case whenever you don?t want it in your pocket. They are very comfortable and get softer after laundering. The mic also works while plugged in, which is great. Overall affordable solution for protecting your headphones in a hard shell case. This was our solution and its a great product. Now I have had it for sum months now.
