I?ve been buying JVC Marshmallows for many years and have been through a few designs of them as they have changed. When I took it in for repair, the tech said there was water damage (and warranty was void) and I would have to pay for a replacement phone. I have the Solo 3s, verified by S/N, and ordered the Solo 3 Repair kit. No complaints at all about use , reliability,, quality, charging time, etc. The first thing I did when I unboxed the mic was record my girlfriend at a whisper-like, hush-toned conversation level.
