I find that I can hear subtleties in music that I cannot hear over my home entertainment system. But it does--I had no issues hearing the narration through my earphones. I also picked up the AT-VM95EN/H also a nice match over the included DJ Styli. as a final point the tips do their job as intended, I just wish I could buy a pack of just the size I require das.
