I had expected to get the one exactly as ordered (no mike) but it came with the mike on the cord. Very nice item, make sure you drill with a drill bit before screwing the bolt. (It?s easier with 2 people! The cloth ear pads get dirty quick, are a mess to try cleaning, and expensive for replacement. - Mac users cannot run the JBL app, so it acts as a stereo headset. The stand itself is very sturdy. I wore them only at night when I got home from classes. Also, when I put on my glasses, the least amount of movement I do makes the piece come away from my ear. My AirPods Pro are still able to charge when I place it on a wireless charger. I used a ratchet wrench, rather than the open end wrench that comes in the box.
