This foam block consolidates all my bits into one spot thats easy to insert and remove. Just got it and direct wired it on my truck red is + black is - touch yellow to negative to change patterns. The notch indicates the mounting direction. I bought this so I have access to my towel (full-size) when I am in the shower stall. They look quite good on the head as well, and don?t add too much width to your head which many people with like. I gotta say that these are one of the best sounding headphones I have heard in a long while. Great value, the outer cups dont say steelseries but look great. Their very comfortable and massage my feet These not bright like ATH M50x but have clarity. The cans are REALLY tight.
