Bluetooth always connects with no problem. 5 to a 6 depending on the shoe sometimes a 6. The bench is a little bit uneven and we have to put a 1/4? scrap piece of flooring underneath one corner of the base to keep it from wobbling. I had them on my wish list. Summary: would buy again - I love them. I would have preferred dedicated switches, which should have been easy to do.
