Bought another pair and the same thing. My assumption of people who have trouble with this anchor are likely not doing it right or have the wrong rope and chain set up. Maybe include extra hole covers and recommend drill bit sizes and counterbore depth in the mounting instructions? The other pair I had purchased was a similar height heel (1/4? lower), but the heel was wider, making it easier to walk in and more comfortable. The slippers looked really small.
