You only get what you pay for. I?m happy to say that all of my investigating paid off. I knew I wanted to buy some felt / velvet ones and loved the look of these so I thought I would give them a go -- they did not disappoint! Very hard plastic well formed,I hope subzero cold temperatures don?t make them brittle once my boat sits on them . Update: I bought a total of 5 pair and they have all broken in less than a month. I wish the toe box didnt leave so much of the toes exposed. It?s more streamlined and minimalistic. Rough, unsanded and even sharp edges all over, atrocious quality control. I?ve had this wallet for over two years. I wanted a little bit more support and that worked out perfectly.
