I also have a set of the same JBLs without this connecting wire. Pulled out those and now the roundbar adapters fit. I kept those! It burned when I charging my phone. I needed it for a certain space that measurements were important and this fit the space perfect. When undoing the vcro straps to release the arm stand to the side and not in front of it. No White Noise trickery is associated with this. I originally bought it for $13 so I think Im going to wait for it to go down again. Worked ok, one of the tracks i had to force to align with a hole in the middle. 3) I wouldn?t use for any heavy-duty purpose, but for shoes or other reasonably light items, its great!
