I have recommended it to other people without hesitation. Some minor hum was noticed sometimes. I am a woman who has size 12w feet, so its not always easy to find slippers in womens size to fit me properly. Couldnt seem to get the combo I was looking for until I found this. but oh well. Good as a gift. I would say it?s not completely flat flush throughout against the screen so won?t completely stop things from getting in between but it?s not a major problems unless you have a lot of loose things in your bag with it. Overall, its a good piece at a reasonable price. Most of this type of over-the-door bar/hooks are spot welded and tend to not handle heavy items like laden purses, school backpacks, and heavy leather coats - this item is not like that! Our garage was pretty well packed, even BEFORE we got our new mountain bikes.
