My review stands. I have been a wearer of Reefs for many, many years and perhaps I should have stuck with the Fannings I always get. It may just be an issue during the wear in period. These aren?t perfect but they did work. This is a solid, well-made sandal, everything you?d expect from Birkenstock. Branding over quality a screw up or perhaps on purpose to make us buy another when it eventually falls apart. Unit runs very warm to the touch and the microphone is quite good. Its been a year already and they have survived loads of dry wall, wood, mattresses, 60lb luggage bags & automatic car washes, very happy with these! And the "transparency mode" on these also wasnt as good. Would not recommend DIY to anybody.
