The Director(s) gave you a good historical roadmap. They are very secure. It feels like permanent grit underneath my feet and I cannot stand it. So I buy him what he refers to as "Toe Condoms" (they go on very similar, pinch the tip and roll on). I just screwed it into the wall without those. My main issue is they exstreemly tight around the back of the knee and upper part of the sock. I also wore them to ride my motorcycles, Buell sport bikes, not cruisers. Moreover, this cables performance markedly decreased within about three weeks of purchase, to the point where it no longer provided connectivity at all. While this seems like a good touch at first, it fails a bit at its job. Barring me forgetting to turn on the xlr converter - powered, by the way - Ive had no problems with it.
