The shoe is a good-looking shoe on. Comparing mic quality it goes:With the Boom mic the mic quality is slightly better than the iPhone mic (when youre holding the phone up to your ear). Strangely it also allows you to reduce the poll rate from the standard 1000 to 500, and I cant think of any conceivable reason why someone would want to do this. There is an aftermarket hitch installed on the vehicle so this is where we tied the rack down once taking the wheel cover off. This prevents the cord from hanging to low and touching my shoulder as it exits the ear cup. The only issue I have is that the ankle strap is non-adjustable. Then there is a real active mode which uses an extra mic as explained before, inverts the signal and applies noise cancelling to music etc rather than just phone calls as is the case with cheaper buds such as the Boltunes.
