This particular color (the carbon Amazon exclusive) comes with the latest firmware, which means:The mic is functionalThe headset settings persist when powered offYou get the "warm" EQ settingKeep this update in mind when reading other reviews, as these were major issues when this set first came out. Why didn?t it? Cheaper guards come with two. The leather quality is completely awful compared to before. This spice rack is great. Another challenge - when connecting to a bluetooth transmitter connected to the TV, the "pause when taking it off your ear" function causes it to cut its connection to the transmitter. If you have a PSVR this is a no brainer. It also seems sturdy enough that it can be knocked around a bit, which is helpful to me since I?d use it outside a lot.
