It?s actually made of wood. Since I?m driving a truck and delivering parts, my phone gets to stay safe and cozy in the console of my truck. The complaints about the cable being too short are fair. You can still see the LED light to know if your case is charging! If Amazon had the option to get a refund on the difference in price, I would have considered keeping them. The size chart was accurate, knowing that my girls toes are not very long and therefore she would need more length at the heel. Great for a gift, or for yourself. $20 ain?t dirt cheap but a reasonable price for sure ?? The assembly is straight forward and it is, for boxed furnature, made fairly well. The little bag that comes with it is an added bonus that I love.
