You are supposed to adjust the fit by tuning the nylon screws to get a snug, smooth-sliding but no-play fit to the miter slot. I usually buy 9. Great quality, quantity, and price. Are they comfortable?Yes, sort of, the earcups are very small, maybe too small even for young children, there was no chance my ears were ever going to fit inside them so I pretty much had to use these like on-ears, and as a set of on-ear headphones, Id say they are quite comfortable, the earpads are nice and soft and the pleather doesnt make my ears sweat as much as pleather usually does, I used these for about 2 hours without taking them off and my ears were only a little sore.
