The manual warns you to avoid touching this area while fitting them in your ear so that they dont turn on inadvertently, which I found very troublesome. Outside of that it is a very great product. This says it includes clear instructions. Hoping Sony comes up with some software fixes for allowing to make phone calls if not in total silence on headphones. Hoping they fit because I really like them! Wear them all the time even when I just run to the drug store since they have a rubber sole. Im really happy with this purchase!
