Time will tell how long they last, but these are very well made; the interior sole (which meets the foot) is firmly constructed and one solid piece. Good quality item, I had to return it because it did not fit the dress. I have considered and tried several other solutions. Excellent value, cute, lined and pockets for practicality. My kids both love them and have refused to wear anything else on their feet this summer! The top of the speaker has a built-in handle that is both sturdy and good looking. The Holy Grail of shoes for people that have foot issues.
