Would make a good gift. It was a bit disappointing that after only 2 months of intermittent use (leg days only once a week), this sponge split right down the inner middle of the sponge. They are not "biting" and "shrill" at all. I have several pairs in different styles. Set up is easy and done in a few minutes. completely garbage again. The upper frequencies in my left ear are not very good, and I experimented with wearing my standard NHS hearing aid. For the price, and aesthetic, these were great. Sure they are a little larger than a typical t-shirt but that gives you room to really move around and WORK. It should be noted that I own 14 pairs of FitFlops, this is the first pair I could not wear.
