This particular product is not in that group. Not weak by any means - the stereo field is GREAT and the clarity is definitely on par with pricier sets, but I do push my cans a little harder when it comes to bass. It broke when my son pulled it out of the croc. I have these paired with a Sound Blaster Play 3 USB soundcard and have had heard great sound with some other headsets on this soundcard so it must be the headset. My 3 1/2 year old LOVES these shoes! Excellent quality, beautifully finished and very easy to install. Thick padded inner sole. This looks sleek when plugged into that. just after the JBL warranty expired, both hinges suddenly shattered. When I got these back it was like listening to my music as if Id never heard it before.
