The slide body is leather and leather stretches some and in a couple of days of wear, the foot is now sliding in a little farther. They helped organize my shoes quite a bit! Only thing I don?t like is the ear stem that goes inside the ear - Too long. And I love the personal touch from the seller with a hand written thank you note. Very good sound quality The unit easily holds 3 pairs of my husbands shoes per shelf (boots, athletic shoes, dress shoes). Every kitchen should have one of these racks. It solved the problem of them falling out of my ears but they still hurt my ears. Edited 2 days after using product: Well unfortunately as soon as I made this review my rgb lights stopped working why I have no idea but it sucks because I really loved this stand otherwise. This is great!
