I sat and thought it over; my boat has a Sony stereo, my TVs are Sony, Playstation; so why not and the lights are COOL. That may not be an issue as its used more often though. It has no affect on the sound which is important. I had never bought an ear bud before and saw some reviews on cases and saw this get reviewed and the reviewer really liked it and on top of the reviews from buyers, I bought these and have no complaints after several weeks. Turn them up enough to get some rumble and the highs are way too tinny and shrill. You can see in the attached photo that the beige inner plastic has a huge crack and there are also small hairline cracks forming on the outside, metallic plastic part.
