Looks nicer than the ones with plastic bases. Been using my GEN1 A50s since they first came out in 2012 and they are still working. These slides have worked great because they give good support, my feet don?t sweat, and I can wear with or without socks around the house. So, I had been using a Logitech G430, when yet again, the sound started cutting out of one of the speakers because a bad faulty connection. I had all the outfits picks for our fancy holiday outings (Santa, xmas eve and xmas day) EXCEPT shoes! Ill definitely be buying these again! But the sizing around the butt is really tight and weird. I also ended up purchasing can headphones from Audio-Technica, which sound amazing! I love the look of the shoe. The application process for the DIY version isnt perfect, but with patience and good ol fashion sense you should have no problem applying this.
