I would be able to wear a thick sock and touch the end. I didnt see anything about this in any reviews so i thought id mention it. These are hands-down the most comfortable, supportive flip-flops! If it bothers me a lot later, a simple fix will be to use some small zip-ties to make the attachment more secure. I added pvc pipes under the floor for added stability and padded the edges. This was very easy to setup. Theyre super comfortable and easy to put on because of the auto adjusting fit from the paddles on top of you your head. These slippers ran smaller than I expected. And they take forever to come. I cant say these will be for everyone since most have different expectations for comfort, but I loved the way these feel.
