So yerp I love Anker products and buy them a lot, We have a family of six and a hell of a lot of tech and my kids are tough on charging cables big time. I covered the metal angle bracket with white electrical tape to protect the finish on the deco from being scratched. I have no problems with mine; clean and clear. I practically live in these shoes. I was a little confused at first about how to open the charging case and take out the earbuds without damaging them. My feet were seriously sore and I had to return them. The case/charger holds many charges within it, so I can keep my case and earbuds at work for weeks without having to recharge the case. really cool.
