And although I have three other blue tooth speakers (one an Aiwa boombox, the other a Sony and a Boss small box speaker) I use this JBL more than my other ones. For women, I cannot judge. I was looking for a wedge with a least 2inch platform this is 1 and a half. I really love the idea of this, I have not filled it with clothes yet but it seems really sturdy. The previous 3 were all great. My only reason for writing this review was to point out the color pictured in photos for Taupe doesnt match how it looks in person.
