First pic is holding down the saw guide over the bar in the second pic, which shows an 8ft bar with the bolts being used, makes a nice known straight edge that wont budge, makes squaring off 30 ish raw milled cedar boards easy. I like all the tech in these and the fact that noise cancelling can be disabled and you can still use the headphones. The buckle is nice and the toe isn?t too tight for my wide feet. I hate how the other brands have flimsy "sticks" (for lack of better description) that buckle, or the cotton comes off the end while in use - or is just missing from the start - etc. I ordered a second one. My feet are usually medium width but these ?narrow? width are way too narrow and tight. Tutto fatto con gran cura. Do not buy if you have poor balance. The price was better than what I would have paid by going through the manufacturer. He gets home from work and puts them on immediately.
