I did cut the back heal part off with a razor blade. the standard, non programmable worn out mice in conference rooms just dont cut it. Our family Christmas party is the reason I purchased these for my niece and when she opened them she came over and thanked me. When they arrived i has ro comb it but after that i personally think it doesnt get matted or really needs to be brushed often. Thick and functional. Well, I got this to put binders in, definitely not big enough for ANY of my binders. It has been good support, great for working out and fits as advertised. Maybe Im not a typical wine consumer but I tend to have wine from all 3 sizes in the house at any given time. I received:4 black Left ear plugs3 red Right and1 red LeftThe grey is the only correct but when put in the ears they hardly block sound and they are all odd shaped, some are big and some are small. The insoles say they are cushioned and soft etc but when you put any weight down it feels stiff like cardboard.
