We did try hooking them up to our cell phones too and it was the same problem. The whole frame is metal, with the arms able to swivel and bend to get the mic towards you at the perfect angle. Fortunately you can get pretty cheap USB-C headphones with noise cancellation. Theyre pretty, oh so comfortable, and practical. Since I had nothing to lose, I threw them in my washing machine with a few old towels - and was VERY pleased to have them come out sparkling clean. Actually now (15 months later) they are now almost too roomy. When I tried to take out a bar or two it just wouldn?t hold them up. This product is ok. so I took it on my first vacation and wasnt too keen on the size at first but now I love it. These shoes are beautiful but lord they are not comfortable standing in them for a long period of time with no cushion what so ever Is a killer I was walking barefoot 5 hrs later lol but beauty is pain and for the shoes to hold all 240 or me and my pregnancy I can?t complain to much
