It?s a Velcro strap! with that they were fine. I have never seen anything like it, works so much better than the Beats "tangled free" flat cord. If it aint broke dont fix it. My toddlers daily shoes! Good sound quality and durable. It cancels noise because it plugs your ear canal. But, its there. I almost gave these a perfect score BUT getting that sound control to work ugh. Personally, I wanted something that not only protected the case from drops, but would be more colorful so I would not be as prone to lose or forget it somewhere.
