It came with scratches and rough spots in the wood where the screws that hold it together are. There is a belt tensioner mechanism which needs to be adjusted from time to time (I have not done it yet). Just dont go swinging it around like a flail and itll last you a good, long while. The box was hold in place with rubber bands because the box was destroyed. After only a few days, I cannot comment on durability. The joints are held together by screws which makes it sturdier than ones that are with plastic caps. Plus it looks badass, and looking and feeling badass is something I think we all need right now. The stretch was just right without being tight. So if you have a Costco card- you can get it cheaper and more bigger there. The noise cancellation is almost too good, had to remove one during part of the run just to be aware of my surroundings.
