The arch is sufficient but I tried an orthotic inside and although too snug for extended wearing time, the boots are roomy enough to accommodate the orthotic and my foot. After a few months of use it leaked! This is a sport shoe meant to hold your foot in place when playing a sport requiring fast stops and moves. What Im trying to say is, these cans sound really, really good, and I think putting a giant "SOLID BASS" logo on the box might actually turn some people away who would otherwise really like the sound.
