If you are listening for it you can definitely hear it but if not you dont notice it much. This was a Graduation Gift for my grand niece, loves the sandals and its very hard for her something that fits good since she has small foot. They are slick on the bed when wet, but other than that, fantastic. Just ordered another color. Overall, this Curt hitch gets and deserves 5 stars. Boo Yaa. While the shoes arrived quickly, they are nowhere near a size 13. Plugging in anything was exceptionally difficult and the covers are finicky and breakable. Range is at least 30-40 feet to other rooms. This is a terrific product supported by a terrific company.
