So I ended up wrapping a little bit of electrical tape around the plastic post and then it fit nice and snug in the receptacle. So - I guess if you have wide deep feet you are in luck, but if you dont, these wont fit in the larger sizes because they are sizing up the width more than the length. These are really cute with good quality and easy to carry anywhere . I get compliments on these at work. The lack of holes prevents dirt from getting into your crocs as you walk around camp. They hold up the shape in the wash and are spacious. I ordered them a few days ago and it came right on time as they were really much needed. Daughter loves them! I wasnt sure what color to get so I ordered pewter, bronze and gold in size 8 to see what looked best. Fit perfectly near my stove.
