I drove from California to New York Dec 16-19 on I80-90 through snow and ice 60MPH snowstorm through Wyoming. Im a huge doc martens fan but these "bouncing" soles are a first for me. However, if you have some extra budget Id probably go for something a little better especially if you can buy decent headphones and an external mic. These shoes are as cute as can be but I was confused by the size chart. The bar went through the thin plywood and through the box. Biggest drawback to these, though, is that the center post (between the big toe and 2nd toe) has that annoying seam that you may have encountered in cheap-o flip-flips from the old dark blue store. Installation pretty easy even for someone not very handy. Im blown away by this mic. Für diesen Transportschaden kann aber Thule nichts. I will go ahead and give Bludio 2TS a try because I really love the sound quality.
