I tried many different things (wrapping gauze around it, band-aids, etc. It works perfectly for my friend. I can?t wait to use these for not just my ps4 but my first gaming pc that I?m still waiting on. Unless I just mis-ordered. These are my least favorite. Love them all! Shoes are also very comfy after you wear them and break them in a couple of times. The only thing I needed help with was putting on the hooks. I have a million Allen Wrenches but that oversight set the tone. It is thick and made of a material that should definitely hold up to kids twisting it, chewing on it and jerking it.
