First off, my feet are not average in any way. They definitely protect the red sole. Im hoping I paid for a better quality slipper and these last at least a year. I have a few pair of Ugg boots Which I love. The logos are slightly different and the heal logo wore off within two days unlike my 2 year old paid Apparently they were shipped to me from the UK. You just need to be careful with touching the cable or hub as it easily disconnects. Little more than than something over your ears. Everything else about them is great. I have purchased many pairs of Vionic brand shoes, some successful, some not, but generally I have liked them.
