I used my Shimano hardware with my install and it was way better. The metallic looking part is actually sueded so its super soft. I would certainly buy another onen and as an added bonus its half the cost of the Wahoo desk and just as good. Thats not to disparage the ATH-M50 series. I?m usually a 5 / 5. I started to notice after a while that the earcups were starting to feel harder and harder. Those usually only last a year but more cost efficient. I really like these slippers!
