Bluetooth pairing is pretty well instant. For some reason these do not conform with my feet. Im debating buying a larger size to see. If they simply moved the charging port to the top of the speaker beside the buttons, then ONE short side of the speaker would be FLAT, and they would be totally flexible for vertical or horizontal use! I wear a size 8, sometimes 8. I find easier to tape the top first and align the bottom after. The weight of the crossbar and the side mounts feels very sturdy and the mounting bolts are sized for maximum holding power. My favorite brand of flip flops! There is no arch support in this slipper even though it is in the product title. So hard to use it, the metal lids dont work well((
