It has a little photo receptor that attaches to the front left arm and, upon programming your C1 button on your controller through the DJI app to activate/deactivate the front LED Headlights, you simply push the newly programmed C1 button to light up the front, sending a signal to the receptor which turns the holder shaft in and out. Some of the concepts were a bit too advanced for my son. It is fairly sturdy, has some flex, but nothing I haven?t seen on other crossbars. So convenient to just slide open the drawer by the stove and get what you need. Its nicely manufactured and finished to the usual Park Tool high standards.
