The bottom is indoor and out, very good grip to tile floor I?m afraid of falling so these give me confidence with a sure grip. They match the brushed nickel finish on the door hardware in our rooms so they are great. Overall, highly recommend, would buy again. My only complaint is that they wont pair to my Samsung Galaxy S8+ phone. if they weren?t on such a short time frame for their trip I would have returned this item. Nice Summery, Cute Style. My last comment regards bikes with rear panniers ( which mine has ) this kickstand is a godsend, no more fighting with the bike when loading the panniers! I bought these to wear in my final weeks of pregnancy as the weather grew warmer.
