I have hardwood floors and I dont know what material my apartments used but it is super hard. You basically slide off the back cover of the stand, wind your cables through, and you are all set and ready to go. I was looking for something durable, water resistant. Plug the charger in while using and it immediately disconnects and wont work until the charger is disconnected. They dry off almost instantly by the time I get back to the car and I can just Chuck them in the boot of the car and leave them there until next time. So soft, which is important against delicate bare skin and accurate size. Plus a great price! The headband itself fit fine so I was able to replace the broken one, it also feels like the same quality of original. Plus none of that having to connect to Bluetooth. 4/5 Stars
