After enough USB cable insertions, this will wear off and be fine, so not an issue, but an indicator of low-quality manufacturing of the USB connector itself. Connects perfectly to my HD800 with great sound quality retained. Nintendo no doubt needs to put out a more powerful Switch, but this plays well regardless.
