It cuts quite nicely. I think I will have to look for something with a bit more structure. This ?wine rack? doesn?t hold bottles of wine. No problem returning them. You can increase the bass in the app, but the factory (or your sound profile) settings make a balanced format with solid anchoring in the lows and high bass moments. Its a great size. I have three kids and each of them have multiple reusable water bottles that dont fit in my cupboard. We have been using it all summer long to carry bikes and carry the odd load to the dump. If the joists are not in a workable location, fasten some 1X6 cross members to the ceiling, between the joists. I love love love this product.
